The believing soul is trapped and kept in place, but why?
Placed among the mortar and pestle and crushed, but why?
Mixed and baked within the oven and then even lit, but still why?
The recipe now ending, the fragrant incense of a believing soul’s life
Gathers to the Father all those who viewed this living recipe and believed,
Now leaving this believing soul to rest surviving, even thriving, now relieved.
